About 9 months ago loads of people helped me to write a college theological reflection paper by commenting on pictures I was painting. I painted, they commented, I took the ideas and painted the next picture, and so on. Through it I produced what I think is one of my deepest thought shout pictures to date, because so many people contributed.
I fancy doing it again, but this time to create a story. I don’t want a fully fleshed out story, just ideas. So who is this guy? What happened….what happens next?
I will then take the ideas suggested, and paint the next picture, and so on. At the same time I’m going to be creating a sketchbook of my own ideas, and we will see where they coincide.
Just a personal note for this picture. Whilst the comic paper takes ink beautifully, it sucks the life out of watercolour, and dries so quick without texture it’s flat and lifeless.
