David hides from Saul, 20 inches by 31 inches
probably the biggest watercolour I’ve done to date. It took about a week of occasional visits, rescued in parts! It’s worked out well though.
I’ve got a series of work in progress images to add in to this picture which I will post up.
I didn’t start with the title. It was a picture I’d found of a waterfall, and it gave me the idea of the warrior. It
the idea occurred on the way through, then my dad said something similar.
If you look through psalms you will see motions of moments when David, whom many of the psalms are attributed to, could have been looking back and remembering these moments as he was escaping Saul.
