You’ll have become used to the fact by now that my art direction is turning off towards doodling. I doodle in black and white, I love the textures and the like. What I would love to do is to do work like this in paint, but the paint never does what I want it to. Still, might give it a bash one day…
And did you know, he was born just round the corner from where I went to school in Liverpool! Who’d have guessed? He didn’t just do the Discworld series, for which you could better describe the doodle style. He painted scifi…the starwars posters for example.
