All the images here were produced using digital watercolour techniques, using Corel Painter and Photoshop, or Procreate. Some on the iPad, and some on the computer. There is something a bit ‘fake’ about using these digital tools as when you are working with ‘wet’ media you have to really know what you are looking for, and then use the software to make it ‘look right’. However, the book I am working on currently I have found a new software called Rebelle 3 that I am very excited about. It does watercolour that actually flows and misbehaves.

The style here is one that I use a lot when producing images for younger children. And I am not ashamed to say yes, Quentin Blake is a major influence!
